It started at a house party.

I watched a DJ play a house party when I was 18 and bought my own decks the very next day. Three weeks later I was playing my first gig, and I never stopped. Twelve-plus years on, the taste hasn't changed: house, disco, R&B, the good stuff.

For a long time I thought DJing would always be the side hustle. Quitting the corporate life to follow the music and build this business is the best decision I've ever made.

These days I'm married with two young girls, and that's a big part of why I love this job. I know exactly how good marriage is. Every weekend I get to stand beside a couple right at the start of that same journey, and soundtrack the first night of it.

Why we exist

Wedding DJs have a taste problem.

It's no secret that wedding DJs have a terrible reputation. We hear the horror stories from other vendors all the time: dodgy equipment, DJs who don't actually mix, sets that somehow sound worse than a Spotify playlist. Honestly, standing out wasn't hard. Put great DJs on the roster, give them great equipment, and back it with actual taste in music. We don't lean on the same tired wedding cliches all night. We throw down real DJ sets, played to the room in front of us.
